What are your wall panels made out of? How big are they?
Our wall panels (both with slats and without slats) are made of solid core MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard). The panels are 2’ tall by 8’ long with the pattern running horizontally. We make them in this size for two reasons: First is for ease of installation and secondly, by not using 4’ x 8’ panels we are able to eliminate the unnatural and unsightly vertical seams (4’ long) that our competitors products have.
Our slatwall features “slats” or “grooves” that are 6” on center. This is also done on purpose to keep your walls looking most natural which helps highlight your products.
Do your panels come with aluminum inserts?
Yes! All of our slatwall panels (included in the price) come with aluminum inserts. But that is not all - our aluminum inserts are painted to match the slatwall to gain an even more natural look on the wall and to keep the focus on your merchandise and not on the “slats”.
We can produce your order with our without the aluminum inserts, per your request; however, we always recommend that you use them as they are the “strength” that hold up your fixtures and merchandise. (You can also request the inserts to be left unpainted if so desired.)
CAN I ARRANGE MY OWN FREIGHT?
Dimensional Impact welcomes you to arrange your own shipping. However, by arranging your freight you assume full responsibility for your order.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER GET TO ME?
Once we have received authorization and payment for your order we coordinate with production to get your order queued for production. Manufacturing normally takes about 2-3 weeks to complete.
After completion, your order will be crated and palletized for shipping, and then is picked up by the carrier. Shipping transit time typically is 3-5 business days, but can vary depending on your location.
* If you need your order expedited, contact your Dimensional Impact representative to see if our production queue can accommodate your request. Expedited orders, do require a 25% surcharge for the service. (To cover overtime shifts that are necessary to expedite the order)
WILL I HAVE A GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATE?
Freight carriers will not guarantee standard shipping dates. They will only guarantee expedited shipping, which is usually very expensive. If this is desired, contact your Dimensional Impact representative for additional information.
WHAT IS THE CRATED PRODUCT LIKE WHEN IT ARRIVES?
As panel quantity varies from order to order, we custom build the shipping crate to fit each shipment. Each crate is also built on a pallet so it can be moved with either a fork lift or a pallet jack.
The crate length is general 98" long, and 32" or 52" wide. Crate height will vary depending on panel quantity, but can range from 8" to 30" tall (to protect the product nothing should be stacked on our crates).
WILL SOMEONE ELSE BRING MY ORDER INSIDE?
With standard shipping (our default shipping type) your order will not have "inside delivery". This is a service that can be arraigned but will incur an additional charge from the freight carrier.

DO I NEED LIFT-GATE SERVICE?
Most of our crated products will not fit on a life-gate.
The panels themselves weigh approximately 45 lbs each.
If you do not have a truck high receiving dock, you will need to have individuals available upon delivery to manually offload the freight.
WHAT IF MY SHIPMENT IS DAMAGED
Sometimes damage may occurs in transit. The freight carrier is responsible for any damage.
If in the event your order arrives damaged due to shipping:
If the majority or entire shipment arrives damaged, please refused the shipment and notify your Dimensional Impact representative.
If the shipment arrives with minor damage, you MUST sign the Bill of Lading as "Damaged" when signing for the shipment. Then notify your Dimensional Impact representative.
If either of the two above conditions have occurred Dimensional Impact will immediately process a replacement order for the damaged products at no charge to you (contingent on you providing photos of the damaged shipment and photos of each damaged product).
CAN I CHANGE THE SHIP TO ADDRESS AFTER I HAVE PLACED AN ORDER?
You may change the shipping address for your order so long as the order has not already been shipped. However, if you change the shipping address or request any other changes to your shipment after the freight has been picked up, you will incur additional charges from the freight company and you will be required to pay those additional fees.
CAN I RETURN MY SLATWALL PANELS IF I DON’T LIKE THEM?
Each order of our 3D textured products is made as a custom batch and are non-returnable. To insure you select a style and color that best fits your needs we provide complimentary samples to our current and potential customers. Please feel free to request any samples you might be interested in on our samples request page.
AM I ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE MY PANELS?
If you need to have your logo or a graphic put on your panel(s), generally the up-charge is only $399.00. Contact your Dimensional Impact representative for additional guidance.

CAN MY PANELS BE ATTACHED TO CEMENT OR CINDER BLOCK?
The short answer is Yes, but it requires additional prep work to secure the panels to such a surface. Furring strips, adhesives and cement anchors would be needed. We strongly recommend you research the process prior to ordering your panels, so you can make an educated decision on your investment of time and resources.
